    Rainbows and their colors

Rainbows often tend to be grand,
stretching far beyond hand to hand.
These majestic arches of splendid wonder,
are a faint reminders of the distant thunder.

    So I stare at them,
    from my porch swing,
    each color it's own gem,
with different feelings that they bring.

    Red is passionate and caring,
    bold and daring;
    nothing left unsaid.

    Blue is distant and cold,
    wise, with knowledge left untold.
Full of questions; what, when, where, who?

    Yellow is cheery and bright,
and brings thoughts of morning light.
    Peeking past horizons saying, "Hello,"

    Green is mellow and soft,
    with emotion free to waft,
    Yet seems to remain unseen.

    Violet is strange and quirky,
but never leaves you feeling murky
You fly as your own pilot

    Indigo is always serious,
and I fear could make you delirious.
    Always boastful, with large ego.

There' just one color I forgot to mention,
but here's a question, that needs to be brought to attention:
    What rhymes with orange?

Sorry; I'm a tad tired. It looks about... 2:30 am here. Hope you enjoyed it, regardless.

    I enjoyed it.
I was going to mention how the third line in each stanza doesn't, but you mentioned that you were tired at the time. So I won't blame you.
And the way it ended...that was so unexpectedly funny. I loved it!

The end of the third line rhymes with the color.
    Red/Unsaid, Blue/Who. That's why I didn't use orange, (:

That's a good experiment, Zirkle. But I must say it didn't work too well.
But keep trying; who knows what new styles can be learned.
