Here is a mess of words that happened to sputter out of my brain. It is the first mess of words that I 've arranged into a poem.
Kudos to these words.
Asylum
My asylum, is my home
And its pure white gazing walls,
Are the only ones I've ever known
But, you see, its' really not that bad
The howling laughs of the prisoners
Tend to keep me from gettin' sad
If I had one wish
On this very day
I would remind my mind what it's like to have itself at bay
The guards really aren't too much to curse
They all arrived
In a shiny black new hearse
And horns protrude from out their head
The pain of their fire
Reminds that I'm not quite dead
So bodies fly into the night
But the sound of their screams
Tells me someone has stopped their eager flight
And I'm a bit lonely here today
I still told the guards
That I was A-OK
Cause if you show them that you are any bit of weak
You'll be the new tombstone
Flavor of the week
My best friend was taken out this year
Seems he was eaten
By his overwhelming fear
The crazy fool believed that he was somewhere bad
The thought of that,
Almost makes me sad
The guards approached with sickles in their great grave hands
And I had to laugh.
'Cause I myself was one of their biggest fans
They decided that it would be best for me to stay
So in my mind wrote this
Delightful tune today
And If you ever get the urge to come and spend some time
Get on with it
And don't hesitate to lose your mind
I know its terribly unorganized, but please try to find the Rhythm I wrote it in. Any tips on how to improve my work would be forever appreciated. Thnx for reading.
(DOn't worry about the title either, its just a little joke me and my friends have going)
