i managed to get to that route behind elite 4, but whats the point of it. what does that big stone do?

That allows you to get Shaymin, when the even is released. Prof. Oak will be there and you'll chase Shaymin like a freak.

it also gives you pokemon to complete your dex that you can't find anywhere but that route.

Never knew there was a route behind it ^_^, how do you get there?

I've only visited the route once to see what it was like, and also because Natu were swarming there. Other than to get a Shaymin in the future I doubt much time will be spent there. Its not a great route I don't think.

That's Route 224, and the game describes it to be a miniature version of Sinnoh thanks to its geographical features. The hard part is getting there because you always have to get past uber-annoying Golbats!

Go back there when you've gotten the event item Oak's Letter. The route will extend all the way to the end of the map (I know it's long), but there ain't any Wild Pokémon there. Shaymin (Lv. 30) is at the end.

Based from an NPC in the game, this is why you need Oak's Letter:
In the past, Floaroma Town was a desolate and barren wasteland. All the flowers people tried planting didn't grow. Then, someone (probably Oak) gave thanks for the blessings of nature. Since then the land had erupted into a flower-filled wasteland. Of course, the deity Oak thanked was Shaymin. :p

If you have an AR, you can go there and walk to Flower Paridise and get Shaymin even before the event via Walk Through Walls, like I did.

Stardust, you have an AR?!!!!!!! D=

Yup. I didn't so much buy it for DP as I did Harvest Moon, but I think it's fun to use. Besides, not many events are held in my area, so I can't really get the event Pokemon. But I mean, if an AR is bad, then... *hides a pile of stuff behind back* I know AR use is considered cheating, but I figure as long as I don't trade the AR Pokemon or use them in battle it's okay.

Route 224...When I went there, it was terribly annoying. Soo many golbats and trainers I kept accidently bumping into.

You can get Duskull and Dusclops there with Pokéradar. Once you've unlocked the Shaymin event, it also has the longest straight route in the game, a good 250 steps.

What? Roger hacked Oak's letter on my Diamond before it got stole. I kept him away from my Pearl. >.>

I also AR'd the event item and went there to get the real Shaymin. It's fun biking down that path. XDD

In the Victory road cave, there is guy blocking the entry to this route until you beat the Elite 4. It's close to the exit of the cave.

Oh I know that, I've been there before

    Sorry for being a noob

where do u get ar and what is it cuz i really love shayim. she is dat hedgehog isnt she???

Shaymin is genderless, though, so calling it "she" could be offensive. :)

you can get an ar(action replay) at walmart, its just a cheating device and it costs about $25

    Try PokeSav...

and generate ARcode for OAK's LETTER mystery gift...

you'll allowed go to Flower Paradise...

Do you have to do something special to see Shaymin?

And is it possible to catch it with anything other than a Master Ball?

thanks this will be useful to me

    Mwahahahaaaaaa!
