the objective of this deck is to ruin the opponents strategies. first of all the persian i have chosen can allow me to discard up to 3 cards in my opponents hand providing i get three heads. this will definitely ruin my opponents game plan. not only that but the shiftry can also be a threat. its pokebody ensures that whenever my opponent flips a coin its a tails. and its last attack does 60 damage and prevents the opponent to use pokebodies or pokepowers on their next turn. and the beedrills are effective to poison and paralyze the enemy. thier retreat cost is either none or one energy.

pls tell me what u think of this deck. do u think it will work? pls leave your comments. your help is much needed. thank u :)

Not really a fan of Persian. As a general rule, any attack/supporter/trainer that has you flip a coin is risky. On the flip side, if you get 3 tails you've just wasted a spot in your party, and if you're as unlucky at flipping as I am, it won't always work when you want it to. Same thing goes for HGSS Unleashed Drill. Poison is a guarentee, but paralysis is not(mainly because if it was it'd be completely BS). Besides, there are much better ways to inflict massive poison damage.

Check out Weezing(GE). For every Weezing you have on your bench, your opponents poisoned pokemon take 1 more poison damage between turns. Also the new HGSS Unleashed Crobat Prime can utilize "Severe Poison" for one psychic energy, meaning that the pokemon takes a whopping 40 dmg between turns! Combine that with a Weezing or 2, and you won't even need Shiftry at all, freeing up gobs of space!

IMO, still the best way of messing up your opponent is Looker's Investigation. Consider the alternatives, "Team Galactic's Wager" and "Judge. Team Galactic's Wager is a Supporter, and you have the potential to get either 6 or 3 cards. However, you don't get to look at what kind of a hand your opponent had. Judge, lets you both shuffle your hands into your decks and draw 4. Similar to TGW. Since all 3 are supporters anyways, why not be able to look at what your opponent has and adjust accordingly? Who knows? For all you know, by using TGW or Judge, you could be helping your opponent out!

    So......
    -2 Beedril(HGSS Unleashed), + 2 Crobat Prime(HGSS Unleashed)
    -2 Kakuna(HGSS Unleashed) + 2 Golbat(HGSS Unleashed)
    -2 Weedle(HGSS Unleashed) +2 Zubat(HGSS Unleashed)
    -3 Emcee's Chatter, + 3 Roseanne's Research
-2 Meowth/Persian, + 1-2 Weezing's(GE)(although you may find that 40 dmg is enough for the job, thus rendering Weezing unnecessary.)

As for Shiftry, I guess it's your call. I really love Shiftry, but I'm not sure it's necessary in this deck, since poison's a given anyways. It's "Seal Off" attack, though, is very nice indeed. Beta test it against your friends, you might find that Shiftry just ends up being unnecessary and clutters the deck. It's very situational.
Good luck and I hope I've helped.

One more thing to consider: Poisoning the opponent with "Severe Poison" will highly likely make them want to retreat. You could run Dugtrio(PL) with "Sinkhole) to make this less likely. For every Dugtrio you have on the bench, when your opponent retreats, it takes 20 damage. Throw 2 in your deck and that's 40 damage to retreat, and 40 to stay active. Now that i think about it, that's a better idea than the Weezing idea.

Wow. This helped a lot. I agree with the Persian. But I'm a pretty good coin tosser. I can at least get a heads every turn. I'm having trouble finding crobat prime. I will look for some and give your suggestion a try. The crobat and dugtrio combo looks very nice indeed. I'm still not too sure about the shifty. I might leave it in there for awhile and see how it goes. I have tried my deck with my friends. My strategy is to poison and paralyze and quickly withdraw and bring out my shifty for a big attack.

And what do u think if I added a parasect SV its attack does 40 damage and makes the opponent asleep. But the opponent has to flip 2 coins to awaken the pokemon. If one of them is tails then the pokemon is still asleep. I think this will be a great combo with my shiftry. What do u think?

Thanks for your help. I will give it a try :)

If your plan is to paralyze and poison, then retreat and bring in Shiftry for a big hit, definately run Unown Q. Shiftry retreats for 1 normally, but attach that sucker and it'll retreat for free! Especially helpful since your Dugtrio and Crobat Prime also retreat for free, and just in case you have to save your Shiftry from eating it. I myself was going to use Shifry and pair it with Dustox to make a killer status deck. Check out Dustox(PL) if you're interested. Basically you can't touch it if you're inflicted by 2 or more special conditions, and one of it's moves inflicts you with burn and confuse. Unfortunately, I found out the other day that the rules for Confusion had been changed. Up until that point, i thought you had to flip to attack, and to try to retreat. Come to find out that you no longer have to flip to retreat. Since that deck was based on forcing the opponent to constantly flip tails(for burn and confusion) and thus, not be able to attack me either due to "Camoflauge Pattern,' the likely thing to do would be able to retreat. Thats why i suggested to use Dugtrio. Unfortunately since the changing of that rule, now all the person has to do is just pay to retreat, send another poke in to do damage.

Anyways sorry for the tangent. As for Parasect SV, you and I have like minds. I was originally going to use that in my Shiftox deck before i stumbled upon Dustox. Hibernation Spore is great fun, especially if your opponent sucks at flipping coins!(or in my case rolling die). Nutritional support also helps alot. Unfortunately, both of these are attacks, and Parasect doesn't really do much damage. If you want to run this idea, again, insert Unown Q in there so after it sleeps or supports, it can run away for free, unless that is, you're fine with your Parasect eating it early. That card reminds me a lot of Darkrai Lv. X. It has an attack that puts you to sleep as well, you also have to flip 2 coins. If either is tails, you're asleep. If both are tails you're knocked out! Have not gotten to use mine in a deck yet, though :-(.

While we're on the subject of status, make sure you run 1 or 2 Unown G. They prevent status, and all "effects of attacks" including attacks that force you to switch and the like.

I really like the darkrai lv x. It will fit in perfectly in my decK. But now I'm having second thoughts about playing my beedrill. I'm thinking of making it a psychic and darkness deck. Put in the crobat prime , shiftry, darkrai lv x unown g, and do u recommend any other pokemon? If u have read my previous post I posted up my steel and fighting deck. That is my main deck as of now. But I'm really hoping to make this my main deck. Could you possibly recommend any other pokemon to make this deck work. Any hard hitters. Possible tyranitar prime?

Psychic/Darkness=Moonlight Stadium.....nevermind even running unown q, moonlight stadium makes all psychic/darkness manz retreat for free anyways. What's great about running Darkrai Lv. X is that you don't even need Special Darkness Energy! Darkrai's Poke-Body, "Dark Shadow" takes care of that for you! This is also good because special darkness energy are a lot harder to get back from the d-pile. Let's review what we have so far, or what you should have anyways....

    Pokemon: 17(ish)
    2-2 Darkrai Lv. X
    2-1-2 Crobat Prime
    2-1-2 Seedot/Nuzleaf/Shiftry
1-1 Claydol(Some people will say to run a 2-2 here, but if you can't fit it, don't worry. I also find that a 1-1 usually works fine in all but the most competitive decks)
****Add some of your own ideas here...try not to go too much above 20 Pokemon****

    Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums: 26

    2 Moonlight Stadium
    2 Broken Time-Space
    4 Roseanne's Research
    3 Bebe's Search
    4 Rare Candy
2 Interviewer's Questions(Might be my new favorite Supporter!)
    2 Looker's Investigation
    2 Warp Point
    3 Night Maintenance
    1 Luxury Ball
    1 Premier Ball

    Energy:
    12 Dark
    4 Psychic

*Each Crobat only needs one energy to attack, which is awesome! I only put 4 in just in case some are prized or w/e. 10 Dark is kind of a ball park estimate. Each Darkrai X needs 3, and each Shiftry also needs 3. You can play with whatever ends up being extra.
