    I have seen in the Daily Chit-Chat that members have initiated an article on Wikipedia about the Pokémon Community (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PokeCommunity). The article itself has been constantly revised due to harsh criticism by other embers that it presents a rightist view on the Community and embraces criticism of new members to the forum and other select members that allegedly try to blame their faults on misinterpretation by the moderation staff. Because this article has been written with this attitude, most of the biased content volunteered by Paul, Jack O'Neill and others, the page is currently being reviewed for removal from Wikipedia.

    As defined by the terms of service imposed on users of Wikipedia, articles in Wikipedia must be of a sort that is notable and of use in any career, which the Pokémon Community evidently is not in their eyes. Not too long ago, some of the members of PKMN.NET tried to post that forum on Wikipedia, and within a few days the article was removed; the administrators of that forum, already embattled by spam, chastised those that participated in the creation of that entry for ruining their reputation with their opinionated remarks on the Wikipedia page. A similar thing is happening now; we realise that the Pokémon Community is notable by standards of devotional forums, but since it is not an outpost of Nintendo it is not notable by standards of most of those whose careers do not require the evaluation of fan sites. As the disclaimer at the bottom of each forum page suggests, this is a fan site and is not affiliated with Nintendo. It has the same objective as those created on Proboards and Invisionfree, but is much more popular among the mass.

    Due to the fact that it violates the terms of Wikipedia and, in my opinion, disgraces this forum — and many moderators and staff I have contacted about the matter agree with me — the article should not exist.

    Please discuss the matter here....

    I contacted Wiki last night, and Jake and I went ahead and brought it up for deletion, as the content was bias, flamey, and all around stupid. I'm actually disappointed in people because of it. vv;

    this will be discussed by the staff as to what we can/should do.. either provide a correct, accurite and unbiased entry or to have the article removed..

    in the mean time this public thread will be closed
