    I'm currently working on hack called Dark Ruby.

    What's special about it?

    All these years we've played hacks where we would play on the side of Team Rocket.
    Now I'm trying to make a hack where you play on the side of Team Magma. Still deciding on everything and started little work. Just started making the OWs, hopefully step by step I'll get more work done. Here's all I've done for this hack:

    • Redesigned Hoenn region
    • Hoenn music (The base is FireRed)
    • Will list more soon

    I want to make this kind of a community hack where everyone will be able to contribute.
    You can decide on the storyline, features, etc.

    Seems like you're making it a FireRed hack.... Why not Emerald?
    While FireRed is a generally better option than Emerald, it seems like Emerald would be the better choice for a Team Magma hack. After all, Emerald already have Magma/Aqua sprites in the game, as well as the Hoenn region.
    It's your choice of course, I was just wondering why FireRed.

    It's because FireRed hacking is easier for me. It would be easier to hack Emerald but more research has been done for FireRed. Like dynamic palettes and a few other things. I know the same thing could be ported over to Emerald but right now too inexperienced to do that.


    EDIT: Didn't want to double post. I've been working on this more, just added Hoenn badges. You'll be going through a new redesigned Hoenn doing evil things with Team Magma in this game.
