Pok?mon Go: First Reaction
So I downloaded the game last night and was very impressed by how it looked and felt took me back to being a kid again playing on red and blue. However, this nostalgic moment was quickly ended by a mountain of issues. To start it logs players out every time they close the app and has no ?remember me? or ?keep me logged in? feature which in today?s world should be a staple for any game like this. The server issues can be maddening I understand that the game is still under development I?m just noting that this is a massive issue that needs work right away. I understood the idea of using the Pokeball to capture your first Pok?mon but I was kind of hoping to have to fight them before hand much like the previous games along with trainer battles on a much more massive scale than before. However, I?m delivered this very unimpressive cam system to fight with. Which leaves me puzzled as to why they changed a system that already worked? At any rate, the game is effective and I could see this growing quickly in popularity for a long time if they can just get the bugs worked out with the login and servers so far. Then we shall see what comes next.
Yes, I?m posting this in an effort for the developers to see it and hopefully hear my/our cry for change. I suggest everyone do the same with any bugs, mods, cheats, or exploits they find. This is how a community becomes great!
