    This is a hack of:Leaf Green
    called: Island Chronicles

    Storyline Update:
    You and your family are on a sailing boat, enjoying a relaxing boat ride when out of nowhere a storm brews and capsizes the boat. The shock of the cold water makes you unconscious and your limp body floats off to an island.

    Waking up, you see a large amount of vegetation, a desert and beyond that a volcano, towering above all of it. You've heard of this island before, but can't quite remember where. Looking down, you gasp in shock as you see your parent's pokeball lying still in the silk-soft sand. Picking it up, you decide that you are going to have to explore this island if you are ever going to find your parents and use this Pokemon not only as your partner, but as your friend.

    Walking along the beach, you remember something else, which is that a mysterious, powerful Pokemon lives on this island. Spurred on by hope that this Pokemon can help you, you travel towards the volcano, knowing that your real adventure has only just begun.

    FEATURE UPDATE
    Pokemon at the start:
    The Pokemon at the start will be the starters from the original series to the third generation Pokemon. If unfamiliar with them, they are as follows:
    • Bulbasaur
    • Squirtle
    • Charmander
    • Pikachu
    • Chikorita
    • Totadile
    • Cyndaquil
    • Treecko
    • Mudkip
    • Torchic

    Features:
    • Ash Dunes will be a zone where you will find Fire and Ground-type Pokemon.
    • Cocoon Forest is a zone inhabited by Grass and Poison Pokemon.
    • All Items (including HM's) will be found on the island.
    • Valley of the Sunken will be a dive site where you find your parent's bodies.
    • Choice of male or female for your player.
    • New music will be input, such as slow, eerie music for when you find your parent's carcasses.

    ok m8 firstly u didnt say which rom ur using
    secondly start mapping now dont wait otherwise u wont get intresy
    thirdly u didnt mention the tramp u were telling me about.........
    as for pokemon able to disort time?
    i would suggest inserting dialga as it is the time pokemon
    OR EVEN BETTER!! CELEBI that saves u from inserting fakemon
    ill make u some OW'S
    sprites and tilesets if u want overall looks good :)
     
    I've got AdvanceMap. I shall map before scripting with assistance from darkshade.

    To Darkwiz: It says in the description that the scrapbox is to be used to jot down ideas for a hack, so i am in the right place to be posting.

    There's a thread called "quick storyline thread. It's stickied. it's if you just have storylines, and people can rate it.


    it needs a features section.
    an info section (eg. rom info)
    otherwise though, it looks good! Good storyline! :D
     
    UPDATE!!!:
    A zone named The Valley of the Sunken will be mapped. It will be placed underwater and dive is needed to reach it, (HM's will be found on the Island) and it is also where your parents carcasses will be found. This part possibly will be upsetting to the younger player, like when you leave in Mystery Dungeon Red.

    UPDATE 2!!!!!:

    I will be implementing a sandstorm into Island Chronicles, using the weather edit controls within AdvanceMap. Also i will be mapping a Forest Zone. On a final note, all items will be found on the island, such as pokeballs and potions.

    Something like the music used in pokemon tower. It will need to be eerie

    the desert sandstorm effect is doable
    however the ash effect isnt unless u use the snow weather in fr/lg as the ash
    which is what nintendo did in r/s/e

    Do you think nintendo® used a different palette to change the colours of the weather?

    My Hack is based around a volcanic island. I dont think i will use that name unless i put in shadow pokemon like Darkshade, which is not likely.

    Thank You Gold Tom. I have only just started and this idea just came off the top of my head. I'm just building around the initial idea.

    i dont think the bike wil be in it, cuz theirs like no shop and finding one would be strange.

    would it be possible to find something like the pokenav to act as a map and it slowly gets filled as you go along like in the old zelda GBC games
     
    no but u could find a map somewhere (the town map)
    and u could replace the name TOWN MAP with ISLAND MAP or OLD MAP
    or something along those lines..........

    no offence but ur island chronicles banner isnt....well gr8 ill make u a better one
    maybe animated if i can be bothered

    I know it isn't it as good as it could have been, but i was in a rush, but i would like the beach, volcano and vegitation still included, because in my opinion it looks good.
