Pokémon jobs/side-quests?

As the title says, if Pokémon games had jobs/side-quests (i.e. a bulletin board of some sort), other than the usual item-bringing jobs, whose matters do you think would require somebody's assistance?

I would like this system, but it would have to be worthwhile, such as giving you special points which can be spent on something really cool such as special user customisation or... erm... something else?

I could imagine it being something like "I want an adamant Pancham" or even "I want my Ninetails to be in the Hall of Fame. Can you beat the E4 with it in your team".

Yeah, that would be awesome. It would add more ways to get money and it would be fun.

Well, Pokemon X/Y have brought a couple of side-jobs that you can do in the Hotel Richissime, such as making beds, running the lost & found, and taking room service orders. It even gives you increasing pay and difficulty the more often you do it, which is a nice touch. And I agree that things like this add an extra little dimension to the game, which is always good to see.

And since you're asking about the games, I'll move this over to Pokemon Gaming Central, where this would be better suited.
