Concept: Pokémon Monochrome White-Type Changing Rom Hack

    Hello! I'm very new to the Pokémon rom hacking scene and decided to try my hand at making my very first rom hack! It's a pretty simple type changing hack of Pokémon White where Pokémon's types are well changed, for example, Poison Snivy or Electric Purrloin! I will also be changing their movesets, abilities, and colours to match said new type!
    So far I've made a google sheets with all 156 Pokémon of the Unova dex listed with their new types and WIP learnsets, although I'm no where near done aaand not feeling 100% about some of the type changes, which is where I'd like feedback! I wanna know:
    • Are the type changes fun/interesting?
    • Are the changes still balanced? (Note: Pokémon locations and trainer teams may be swapped around to match new types)
    • And suggestions for types for Pokémon that have not been filled out, marked by a ???

    Just an update/more info: I will be rearranging the locations of many Pokémon so that all 156 Pokémon are catchable pre-Elite 4 (except a few legendaries/mythicals), and so that you can't get more OP mons early game. I will also be arranging evolution levels so all those route 1 Pokemon can ACTUALLY be used aha.
    Of course gym leader and rival teams will be changed as well. Now I'm debating on keeping the usual type theme for gym leaders, or coming up with new themes the gyms focus on to make it more interesting ehehe, stuff like a defense stat based leader, or sunny day based, etc. this way they have more diverse teams and hopefully become a bit more interesting!
    I will also be changing stats of Pokemon so to a degree there are no necessarily "bad" Pokemon, at the very least I want to encourage team diversity and using whatever Pokemon you want viably which I feel is a core feature. I do not want this game to be a challenge hack or too easy either, I wanna strike a nice balance so players of all kinds can enjoy it! However, I will lean towards making it more intermediate player friendly only cause I doubt first ever Pokemon players will go for a rom hack lol.
