    Looking to recruit: Pokémon/Trainer spriter.

Pokémon Moonlight Sky is a Fangame made in Pokémon Essentials, made to improve on the difficulty of mainline games and trying to tell a unique story.

For the story itself, it revolves around the Player and their Rival traveling the Region to solve a case of disappearances. All the people that have disappeared were patients of a Sleep Lab and thus, they become the prime suspect as the story continues. The Champion himself is so unsure of everything going on that the Player is tasked by him to check the Gyms to see if the Leaders are involved with the case. As the truth comes out and the sleep lab reveals that they have been kidnapping and experimenting on their patients, the Player and Rival have to stop them. The boss of the organization behind the sleep lab has the goal of using the Legendary Pokémon Cresselia, a savior in the myths of this Region, to put everyone into an eternal lucid dream, so no one has to suffer in the cruel real world. He wants to do all this after losing the love of his life in a brutal accident. He partially succeeds with his goal, putting multiple cities and even the Rival into the eternal dream. However, he is stopped by the Player in the end and abandons his dream, realizing how much worse the world he already hates would get if he did succeed. He turns himself in and the Region is safe, leaving one last Gym and the League for the Player to take on.

Dream and Nightmare forms, which will be the game's battle gimmick, will be added, mostly for older and rather obscure Pokémon to bring some attention to them. The game will also be more difficult than the current mainline games, but not anywhere near a challenge for the regular player. The game offers four Starter Pokémon: Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil, Mudkip and Shinx.

(Currently working on the game: Spec171 and Kolomatos/me)
