    Introduction

Hello everyone! I'm excited to present Pokémon Shadows Unleashed, a fan-made Pokémon experience that brings fresh mechanics, unique storylines, and innovative gameplay features to the world of Pokémon. Step into the shoes of Liam—a young, aspiring trainer—and follow his quest to unravel the mysteries of the Dalrun region.

    Engines Used

Created with RPG Maker XP, Pokémon Essentials v20.1 and Game Launcher Creator

    Story/Plot

Liam embarks on his Pokémon journey with the hope of becoming the Pokémon League Champion, just like countless trainers before him. Along the way, he befriends a young rival named Logan, fueling both competition and camaraderie as they travel across Dalrun.

However, the path to greatness takes an unexpected turn when Liam discovers that his father has become involved with Team Blackout—a nefarious criminal syndicate with sinister plans for the region. Liam's simple dream of reuniting with his father soon turns darker, forcing him to train harder, form new alliances, and uncover the true nature of Team Blackout's conspiracy.

I've been juggling a few games so I haven't had time to delve into this one very far yet, but the difficulty options just changing the rubber banding of levels feels... odd. I was hoping 'normal' mode would've just had trainers/wild mons have a normal static level.
There's also been a few spelling errors/missing letters at the very start-
Anyway, I do like being able to join the 'bad guys' so I'll keep my eyes open for that if it ends up happening at a later date.

This is something I do have planned. it will be coming along side with the Secondary Story line. Keep in mind the Gym leaders, Elite 4 and any major fight - the levels are static. I did it the way that I did because it allows you to go wherever you want to explore, and fight the gym leaders in any order you want.

Do you have an ETA for the update with joining team blackout? Or is it going to be multiple updates that finish that storyline?
No ETA yet, Still trying to Balance it all out and figure out how to make it work the way I envision it. I fully intend to allow for the player to be able to steal trainers Pokémon and all so this will be a significant lift.

    Side note: Updated to 2.4.0

    VERSION 2.5.0

    - The Elite four has been completely reworked. It now features a system where you
can fight them in any order.

    - Rebalanced Skill tree and added max levels to the skills.

    - Rebirthing has been completely rebalanced and makes more sense now.

    - Discord presence was removed from the game as it caused way too many problems.

    - Added in several new Pokémon and mega evolutions to the games code. Will all
be released within the next few versions.
