    A pokedex games has been announced for the 3DS

    Nintendo, through Nintendo World Report, has announced details of the first Pokémon game out for the Nintendo 3DS. This game, 3DSWare coming to the eShop on its launch next week, is a Pokédex providing various details for the Pokémon. Players start with 16 pokémon and gain more through the StreetPass, online through Spot Pass where you get three a day or through QR Codes. This game, in addition to providing details of each Pokémon in the Unova Pokédex, has Augmented Reality functions to view the Pokémon in 3D via the camera and to top it off, it doesn't cost any money as it is a free download.

    Hint for Third Game being on 3DS perhaps? I've seen the pictures, looks pretty cool, but the Trading for entires thing is no.

    I think this would possibly kill the possibility of the third game being for the 3DS.

    This Pokedex App for the 3DS seems to be a test run for their future with this system. If it flops, they may not make it a solid 3DS game, but more like Gold/Silver which were compatible with the color to have separate colors instead of the universal color settings from Red/Blue/Yellow.

    I am going to laugh really hard if THIS app is the "game" that Coro Coro said they'd cover if it isn't Battro.

    I am pretty impressed by the application just from what we've been given. I remember when they came out with the Hand Held Pokedexes for Red/Blue and Gold/Silver. I loved those things.

    Wrong and please don't mini-mod. Just report it.

    It belongs in here more as it isn't actually part of Black and White though. It has their Pokemon now, but it is a different game entirely.

    Wrong, it belongs in spin-offs because it's not a main series game or apparently it goes in BW...oookay, idk who did that, but...
