Your work is pretty decent for a beginner, but I have a few things I would like to comment on.

o1. Looking at your render choices, I can tell that the original images were pretty bad quality. You always have to be aware of what renders you choose. A bad quality render can be contrasted from the others by (1) Seeing if the render has an overall dull appearance or is blurry, (2) Gray specs here and there from a bad quality scan, (3) If the render is pixelish in any way. Now, I will show you an example of a bad quality image vs. a good quality image. Bad quality vs. Good Quality. See the difference? The bad quality Eevee looks rather dull and coloring is just too plain simple with little detail. The Good quality Charizard is obviously noted for its 3D appearance and the overall detail of it. For a full Pokedex of the official reasonably good quality images of rendered Pokemon, click here. For an overall famous and very good quality render source, click here (use the search function). Oh, and just a note, the renders are usually big and are cut off a little in most banners to make it more natural looking. Otherwise it can look like the render was just slapped on.

o2. Backgrounds and Brushes. It seems that all of your banners have the exact same background, a simple cloudy background with color variations. This simply won't do. Download some extra brushes to create a grundge, vector, etc background. I suggest this website for a resource on brushes. Also, your banners are very monotonous. Add some color and express yourself! I suggest using the Overlay technique. First, create a new layer and make it overlay. Then use a colored soft brush to color various parts. It would look really nice. Additional effects and stuff like sparkles and explosions, yeah, it all comes down to downloading some brushes (a.k.a. some sparkle brushes).

o3. Your banners need more blending and flow. What is blending? Well, most graphics artists try to erase the edges of the render a little bit to make it blend in with the background. Always make sure the background is a style and colour that fits the render. We don't want to put a green render on a red background, now do we? ^^" Next comes flow. Flow is like a direction or path that the banner is going in. Hard to explain, but look around at a few of the other graphics shops and galleries. Utilizing Cinema 4Ds (c4d's) is a good way to add flow. I'll link you to a c4d I use riiight here. It looks really cool, doesn't it? There are many ways to use a c4d. Save and open the file up, and slap it on to your banner. Put the layer on overlay or reduce the opacity of the layer. That way, it looks like your banners are flowing in a direction.

o4. Text is a problem, I see. Make your text noticeable, but contain the same color scheme as your banner. In reference to your Buneary banner: the purple and green came out of nowhere! Usually white or black text with a reduced opacity will do. Remember to keep it readable, though. Some text effects are always nice. Stroking can make your text more readable if you're having a problem with that, although it often makes the text Pixelly. I sometimes set it to overlay for a nice and contrasted look, although it can't be always used since it does tend to end up unreadable at times. You need more fancy fonts. Fonts like Times New Roman and Arial are quite boring in most cases. A fancy cursive font would look nice on your Buneary banner, while a scary and destroyed looking font would look nice on Alakazam. I recommend this website for a wide resource on fonts. Follow the instructions to download.

o6. Not really a major issue, but one way to increase the quality of your banner is to abuse use the Brightness and Contrast feature. Just not too much or it can really sting your eyes. ^_^

I wish you great luck in graphics making! :D
