Cool tutorial, but you might want to make the actual medals 3D, and even the pokemon on them 3D. Try adding shading on one side of Medal and said Pokemon.

how about this one? :x (lol)

remember to go light to dark on the actual medallion and try not to have the pokemon over lap the actual edges of the medal. think about where you want the light coming from aswell to help with the shading.

:O Thats kewl! It looks 3d too yay! I might "attempt" one, but my pixel skills are..meh.

I fixed up the tutorial the medals look slightly more 3D. But in my view subtlety is the best policy

Also always remember to save images as PNG, Never save as JPEG!

Yeah that was weird Photobucket converted it I never realised it did that before... Oh well I put it on Image shack so now it should be ok

shall i put it on my own thread? i don't know if this is against the rules..

That looks good better than the ones in the tutorial but I never intended for the tutorial ones to be the end product I am glad that you were able to think for yourself and shade things the way you wanted.

BTW I will work out Pallets for Silver and Bronze

..::EDIT::.. Here are all 3 pallets for each medal starting with bronze then silver then gold
