Pokemon 5th Gen

What should I name my first Genisoh game?

    I'm trying to come up with a new game. It's going to be 5th generation. The region name is Genisoh I'll have Team Galactic and a new Team, Team Aero. They have a whole backstory from RSE. The beta will be based off an Emerald ROM until DPP maps can be hacked. I've been working on it for a little while and I've hit a few dead ends. Any suggestions, offers to help, name ideas, all would be greatly appreciated.
     
    Well, I take it to mean by region of main gameplay. Kanto games like RBY and FRLG are 1st, GSC are 2nd, RSE are 3rd, DPP are 4th, and this one is 5th.

    You need to get a storyline on here or this is going to die out.
     
    FR/LG are 3rd gen.

    To make it live up to the "5th gen." you'll need a LOT of scripting.
     
    Storyline? You think I'd come up with all this and NOT have a storyline? Here itis(it's pretty damn long):

    You start in Cleanslate Town. You have the typical goals of beating the gym leaders and the elite four. In the intro you hear about this fight between Team Galactic, who have come from Sinnoh, obviously, and Team Aero, from Hoenn. Team Aero was founded by a trainer in the Hoenn region when Team Aqua and Team Magma were fighting. This trainer had decided that they had enough with evil organizations and would counter with their own. Their main legendary was Rayquaza, and when Groudon and Kyogre were fighting, Rayquaza was awakened to save the day(events from Pokemon Emerald). At any rate, you don't actually see any of this until you reach the 2nd gym. After beating it, the leader of Team Aero shows up, talks about the fight, says he will appear throughout the region to test your skills(he will become your rival as well as your ally), and battle you. You progress in the game. After the 4th gym, you are directed to Team Aero's headquarters. You, as the trainer in the storyline, don't know that Aero is good, so you fight 14 grunts, 2 Admins, and the leader. He then talks to you and sets you straight. Later on, you encounter some Galacitics outside Seacoast City. You hear their plot to control Arzeus, the Omega Pokemon(more powerful than Arceus). So after hearing this, a bunch of Aeros come and ask you to help them catch the regis(there will be some new ones), and they will give you a master ball to catch each of them. The only things with that is, you have to give the regis to them. You also have to track down the 3 legendary birds, but this time Team Aero will catch them. Then, they set you back on your journey after giving you an HM. After the 7th gym, however, you hear that a new member has joined Team Galactic. They quickly became a Commander. You also hear that Dialga and Palkia were captured by Team Galactic. Team Aero is chasing Giratina to beat them. You hear all this from a Kanto trainer is not revealed(he turns out to be the champion). You go to Mt. Kosmo, where you find some Aeros fighting Galactics. Beat them and go on. You help 2 Aero Admins beat Commander Mars and Commander Saturn. You reach the summit, and all admins and commanders, as well as some grunts, come too. Cyrus and the leader of Team Aero are already there. It's there you find out that the new Commander Neptune was once Aero Admin May. As a result, Team Aero's leader will not face her. Instead, All Aero members take on the Galactics. He then battles Cyrus, temporarily stopping the awakening of Arzeus. You battle Commander Neptune. After the battle is over, all of Team Galactic's Commanders and most of its grunts were beaten, but somehow Aero's leader lost to Cyrus. As he heals his Pokemon, Cyrus awakens Arzeus. An Aero grunt runs in and shouts that the region is in chaos, and will soon be destroyed. Galactics don't give a crap. They let out Dialga and Palkia to start making an new universe. Then Aero lets out their surprise weapon, Mesprit, Uxie and Azelf, who stop Dialga and Palkia. Team Aero then unleashes Rayquaza, all the regis, Giratina and Mew. Then, out of nowhere, Arceus appears and joins Aero's little army. Arzeus is beaten, and returns to eternal sleep. Cyrus is pissed. He yells at Commander Neptune, who is upset for a number of reasons. But she reluctantly listnes to Cyrus and temas up to beat Aero's leader. Aero's leader heals your Pokemon, and then asks you to join him to battle the two Galactics. You have beaten Team Galactic. For now. They return later on. Everyone leaves Mt. Kosmo. You go on and beat the last gym, but before you can face the E4, the Aero Leader is back to test you skills one last time. Beat the Elite 4, and then the Champion, Ash. That's the end of the pre-E4 game.

    Error, Ash is not in the same universe as the games, so unless it's a different person, it won't work.

    PS: The only reason I'm giving no sympathy towards this hack is because it's supposed to be "5th Generation" but it has to many contridictions, such as the mass amount of 4th and 3th generation characters and legends, this is obviously 4th generation.

    PPS: All the names in the poll have been taken, so you can't use them.
     
    Not true. I searched and did not find any reference in this site to any Pokemon Aurora, Amethyst, or Azure. And as it does not seem I'll be getting anyone particularly interested in this on this site, and rather trying to destroy it before it's even made, I will no longer be paying attention to this thread. Coming to this site appears to have been a waste of my time.
     
    I'm sorry Pokemonleaguechamp... but when a new hacker comes to this forum to expose his or her ideas, it's implied that you're willing to know what people would think of your game... and trying to get advices to make the best of it.

    Unfortunately, not always our ideas -- in which we have high hopes -- are as accepted as we wanted them to be, and, then, we have two choices.... sticking to them because WE believe on them... or adapting them so as to please more people. That's up to you.

    Whether you choose to continue your hack the way it is or not... running away from other people's opinion and being MAD at them for not agreeing with you will never lead you anywhere (good).

    Oh.... anyway...
    that's just MY opinion.
     
    Woah woah, I didn't say give up, look, first off, the only names available are AeroGreen or GalacticBlack, I have been on here for almost a year and know the others are taken. second, if it's fifth Generation, add lots of new characters and references to characers in other games. Third, people don't like hacks where there are uses of two many legends. And forth, people also don't like it when Ash or Red are the champion, other than that, this could be good.
     
    Well, I'm leaning towards Pokemon Aurora becuase I think it sounds cooler, and through ongoing searches I have not yet found any Pokemon Aurora except for one of those online Pokemon games, which in my opinion do not count. I am using so many legendaries because this game(or series) is supposed to mark the finale of the Pokemon universe. Ash is the champion only because I'm trying to link this region to Kanto, like DPP is linked to Johto. Also, the fact that I called it 5th gen is only because I had thought it meant regions and not consoles.

    Wel, that leaves Azure, Amethyst, Garnet, Topaz, and CObalt(I recently saw a Pokemon Genesis, so I know I can't use that name).

    I am also forming a hack team because there's still some hack programs I don't understand, and I figure it'll go quicker if more people than just me are working on this game.

    Cobalt is a Gold/Silver hack
    Topaz is a completed Team rocket hack
    Amethyst is on this page of the scrapbox
    Azure... that is available
    Garnet is by Starryday.
    I want to see this hack grow, this could be fun, heck, I have 2 hacks and I could be your scripter.
     
    this hack sounds awesome i like the idea
     
    All right. I'll be opening a new thread titled "Pokemon Azure". I'll be looking for help for story refinement, people to join a hack team to help get this done, and various other things.
