Pokemon Anime UK DVD Releases?

    Okay, I recently got back into Pokemon so I went on Amazon and decided to see which Pokemon episodes had been released on DVD, and what did I find?

    You have some of the movies, and some Pokemon Chronichles related DVD's (don't ask me about these) and then the rest of page 1 and all of pages 2 and 3 are American Reigon 1(NTSC) DVD's and since I have no multi reigon DVD player now know how to mod one these are useless to me on so many levels. Now the ones I want are the Season 1 Inidgo Leauge episodes and Series 2 Orange Island episodes, and NONE of these from what I can find are available in Reigon 2. So if anyone knows if Nintendo/Gamefreak/4kids etc plan to release these dvd's in the UK?

    I apologise if this has been asked many times before, if this isn't allowed let me know, thanks in advance
     
    Only the chronicles and the movies are in Region 2. So I imported the DVDs from the US Amazon...

    Are you sure you don't have a multi regional DVD player? I don't think they actually advertise them as multi regional for some reason. I have a very cheap DVD player that was around £30 3 years ago that I got from Asda and its multi regional even though it doesn't say anywhere in the instruction booklet. Actually I'm sure it says it'll only read region 2. If you have money to spare you could try buying something cheap in region 1 and test to see if it works.

    I don't think there's any news on them being converted to region 2.
     
    Can't you play them on your Computer? One of my Region 2 DVDs (for some reason) displays 'Wrong Region' on my DVD player recentley (yet it DID work before, but may be because of scratches on the disc) and it works on my computer.
     
    When you've put in 5 different regions on your computer DVD it locks to the last one. So say you kept switching between Region 1 and Region 2, on the 5th time you've switched it will lock to the last region DVD you put in and won't read any other. But if its the only thing you watch on your computer it wouldn't make a difference I suppose.
     
    I posted a Movie thread not long ago about when are they going to release movie 7.8.9? Becasue Nintendo Offical Pokemon Magazine Special Edition, had a poster of Lovie 8 nd said DVD Coming soon , and No.7 hasent come out yet? Starting to tick me off as the movies takes to long to come out. There are no Series Box sets out in UK exept Chronicles.. And i doubt they will bring thme out here, but it would be AWSOME if they did.
