Hi all, Since some months now, I have been working on an amazing Pokemon game which, partnered by a brand new and different storyline, is much more player active then the previous official Pokemon editions. As so, the player has to solve puzzles, escape from attacking pokemon and, as a new level I am currently working on, has to partner with Latios to defeat the Dark Lugia. However, in this level, where the player actually flies on Latios's back, I want to add another graphic which is probably quite advanced and really difficult to realize. I want to be able to shoot fireballs by pressing the action button, which directly affects the other events which are on the path/sky.
Thereso, graphical visioned, you got hundreds of events (enemies) which are all moving towards the player by the autonomous movement option. All of them must be stand clear at all times. It is quite difficult to avoid them all, since they are approaching from all directions, so to make it even more interesting, i want to enable the player to shoot fireballs (like one event tile fast moving forward from the player's position) which actually erase the 'enemy' event which it will hit. I already got the attack going, but I can't figure out how to affect an event that got hit by an event instead of the player itself.
Please, can somebody help me out???
