[The Shining]

A Dark Pokemon Fanfiction

It began as a dark and rainy day. A girl of about nineteen looked out over the cliffs towards the Sapphire Sea. Someday she planned on going across the sea to what ever was at the other end. Her name was Yuka Starz. She had lived on the Sunset Regain of the Pokemon World for as long as she could remember.

"Yuka!" a voice yelled from behind her. "You have to come in. A storm is coming!"

Yuka looked towards her twenty year old sister, Amy. She seemed a little nervous. There had been many attacks on other villages by ether Darks or evil Shadow Pokemon. Darks were not Pokemon. They were humans. They carried weapons and attacked towns. Shadow Pokemon were black colored versions of normal Pokemon. All Pokemon came in many colors but all the pitch black ones were said to be possessed by evil spirits.

"Coming," Yuka said as she took one last look towards the sea. The sapphire waves were beginning to rise and seemed bigger. Yes, there was a storm coming.

As Yuka and Amy ran back to the village, a young pick colored winged Mew watched...and then flew away.

The winged Mew was the last of its kind. She had been given the name 'Solar' because of her sun based attacks. She was one with the sun and she would always be. But then something rammed her in the side and she fell towards the waves of the sea. Still building with the power of the coming storm.

"WHY DON'T YOU GO DOWN!" came a yell. "**** you! Will you ever learn that darkness is better then light!"

The pink winged Mew turned to see a pitch black winged Mew coming her way. "Lunar!" she yelled.

And indeed it was. Solar's rival the Black Winged Mew known as 'Lunar' was charging her from the other direction. The two faced each other. The Psychic/Flying VS the Psychic/Dark.

"The world is already in enough trouble as it is!" Solar screamed towards her rival. "It does not need you making things worse!"

Lunar shook his head. "No," he said. "The Darks and Shadow Pokemon have only just started to work together! This is the beginning of the end for the whole Pokemon World!"

With that the Black Winged Mew sent a Shadow Ball attack at his Pink colored counter part and it hit. Solar fell towards the waves of the sea. Seeing that she was not going to attack Lunar turned and shot off into the sunseting sky.
