5th Gen Pokemon black and White, old starters?

Would I be able to trade pokemon from my soul silver onto my white version? I want squirtle and charmander as starters. I think the new starters are bad tbh aside from the water one. Thanks guys :)

You can transfer pokemon through Pokeshift, which is pretty much the same concept as Time Machine back in G/S/C and Pal Park back in D/P/Pt and HGSS. With out items attached to pokemon of course. IIRC you can old do so after the National Dex is obtained.
