Pokemon Black Depths

Hey everybody. I'm EvEv94 and I am starting a hack called Pokemon Black Depths. I need a team for it also so if you want to join pm me.

Name - Pokemon Black Depths

Hack of - Pokemon FireRed

Plot - You are a 9 year old boy living in the region of ESBAR. You are going to get a pokemon as a present from Professer Ghale on your birthday when a mysterious team called Team SHADOW starts causing destruction and havoc all over the region. But they make it personal for you by kidnapping your mother! Why did they choose your mother and not anybody else's? You decide to take on this evil force with your new pokemon while trying to become The Pokemon Master of the world and save your mom!

BTW, these are rough drafts of the maps I am makING. So don't say stuff like this "You should fix those tile errors
Youll never get a team as long as youre map has errors,and I see alot
It looks like you rushed on these maps" or "Overall your maps have to much open space in them, and they also don't appeal at all to the eyes."

What tile errors besides the one where the grass is going on to the path?

The houses have the wrong snow tiles behind them.

Overall your maps have to much open space in them, and they also don't appeal at all to the eyes.

 

[Twinx]

As chatot said, you should fix the tiles behind the houses and the lab.
Is this the starter town? If so, a pokemon center shouldn't be there.
The snow tiles are good though, I like the mountain tiles.
Another problem is that it's too square.

-The tall grass on the right is wrong, it's not right.
-Some of the edges of the roads are also wrong.
-Some empty spaces
-Squared.

The story looks good, it could be more developed though...

Ok I thank all of you for the constructive critiscism and stuff but I never said that I was finished with the maps......and I was just doing those as an example.....sorry if I suck....maybe I should just quit then?!?

You don't suck, you're just new at this and I'm sure with practice your work will become better. Just keep trying and I'm sure you'll get it.

If you feel that you lack the enthuiasthm or the time to continue, maybe you should quit. But, don't quit because you're not good enough.. u'll get better with practice.

Take a look at the Map Rating Thread to see how other people work and try to learn from there mistakes, that's helpful.
