Couldn't think of a good title.
Chapter 1: Waiting.
He woke up, excited about the big day that was finally here. Quickly, he changed from his pajamas to his blue shirt, blue pants, and black shoes. He ran out of his room and into the bathroom. He brushed his blue hair untill it looked presentable. He ran back into his room and looked at the clock. It was 6:00 AM.
"Good. That gives me enough time to... 6:00 AM?! I know I wanted to wake up early, but not this early." He said. Then he smelled something. Something like breakfast.
"Maybe Mom's up. But why would she be up this early as well?" he asked himself. Suddenly, his mom called him.
"Ben, come to the kitchen. Even though you're leaving today, I want you to have a good breakfast." yelled Ben's mom.
Ben walked into the kitchen. His mom had already cooked breakfast. He must have been too excited to notice earlier.
He sat down and looked at his plate. There was bacon, eggs, and buttered toast. Also, a glass of orange juice sat next to his food. He started eating.
"(Man, mom's breakfast meals always taste good.)" thought Ben.
"So Ben. Have you decided what Pokemon you want?" Asked his mom.
"Not yet, but I'm pretty sure I'll get a good one." said Ben.
A few minutes later, Ben drank the rest of his juice finished off what was left of his food.
"Thanks mom. Well, I've better get going." He looked at the microwave clock.
"It's almost... Hey! It's only 6:23. I've still got about two hours." Said an annoyed Ben. He fell anime style.
"Now Ben, remember what I told you..." started his mom.
"I know. Patience is a virtrue." said Ben while getting up.
"Well, that, and falling anime style is bad for your head." said his mom.
"Well, what am i supposed to do for two more hours?" Asked Ben.
"Why not take a walk around town or something? Just be back in time." said Mom.
"Might as well. There's only three houses and a lab to walk around anyway." Said Ben.
He looked at the stars still barely visible. Soon it would be 7:00, but Prof. Oak's Lab wouldn't be open until 8:30.
"So, you're up too?" asked Ben as he turned around. He saw his childhood friend standing, looking up at the stars too. His friend had yellow-orange hair, gray gloves, white shoes, and green pants.
"Yeah, couldn't sleep. Accidentaly woke up at 6:00."
"Must be contagious, huh Lan?" asked Ben.
"Yeah. Say, what Pokemon are you going to choose?" Asked Lan.
"Squirtle. Looks like a cool pokemon." said Ben.
"I'm thinking of picking Pikachu." said Lan.
"Wait, is Pikachu even one of the choices?" asked Ben.
"It was on the documentary on TV about that one trainer." Said Lan.
"The Ash guy? Man, he's old, probably eighty to say the least." said Ben. Then, he heard footsteps behind him. After turning around, he saw a girl with green hair put in a ponytail, gold earings, a green shirt, black jeans, and black shoes. Ben turned back to Lan.
"Hey, you're sister's here." Said Ben.
Then Lan turned around. "Hey Stephanie." Said Lan.
"Hey guys. Couldn't sleep. Accidentaly woke up at 6:00." said Stephanie.
"Ok. Now it's just an epidemic. Speaking of which, before you ask, I'm choosing Squirtle, Lan's choosing Pikachu, and yes, he's a choice, just like on the documentary." said Ben.
Stephanie started laughing. "Since when did you become psychic all of a sudden."
All three turned towards Prof. Oak's lab. They saw him walking out.
"What's he doing up this early?" Asked Lan.
"Hey! Maybe he'll give out the Pokemon early!" said an excited Ben.
"Yeah! Let's go!" said Stephanie. They quickly ran over to Prof. Oak.
Hope you liked it. The buttered toast thing is a reference to Ed, Edd, n' Eddy. Feel free to leave comments.
