POKEMON cards....HELP

    I have a hundred or so Pokemon cards. Some are energy, some are trainers, the rest reg cards (shiny and matte). My girls collected these because they liked the pictures. I know NOTHING about these cards and wonder if they are worth anything. Can some one give me the scoop on what cards are worth $$$? Some are dated 1995, 2002,2004-if that helps. Thank you
     
    You would need to learn a little about the cards according to the symbol either to the bottom right of a picture or bottom right of the card. The number along with the symbol will help you identify the card. There's a good list of cards at pokebeach.com and pokemon.marriland.com, then once you know what card you have, pojo.com has some prices listed. Generally the rarity symbol in the bottom left of the card, circle-common-about .25, diamond-uncommon- 1.00, star-rare- 2-3.00, holographic picture+star-holo- 5-7.00+ range. There are a few others, but I am unfamiliar with pricing of those.
