Do you think this game was underdone and didnt make its full potential? What would of made it better?

It was sufficient to pass the time, but it could have been so much more. The ability to catch your own Pokemon is, after all, the main drive of all Pokemon games so far, and the main enemies of the game were dressed like complete hippies.

I think the idea of the game is kind of skeptical. The idea of "stealing" another ones Pokemon just makes you think about how Nintendo is potraying the games to the younger generation. Could influence them to do such things in real life. :P (Doubt it though. :P)

But with the overall game play, I think that it could have been done a bit better. It was fairly short, and repetative throughout. There weren't many obsicles to get through. All you basically did was just snatch one Pokemon after another. Maybe if they had put something in the game where you would have to accomplish a certain task before going to the next area would have brought some more challenge to the game.

But still, it did keep us occupied for a while, and got us some Johto's for our R/S games before FR/LG. :P

Thanks to this game i have become a theif. This could have been so much more, i agree. I have seen a few screenshots--Shoulda been better. What's the gameplay like?

I myself would like to see a 3d Pokemon game like on the GBA it would put a whole ne perspective and make the game far more drawring what do you all think?

I cant wait to see what the pokemon ds will bring to the table, i hope its good!

I truely dont like colosseum its a little hard and just stupid.... I dont mean that in a mean way though.. I just never liked it Waste of 50ty dollars to me...

Edit: Go to www.ign.com for previews of Pok?mon DS

    Thanks,
    Aaron

I liked Colosseum, but there was one thing that bugged me for a while. The way the screen shots move from the trainer releasing the Pok?mon to the field to the Pok?ball opening... It seems... not flowing to me, same with how the trainer looks when they're defeated, to their regular stance pose at the end of battle.
    Maybe I'm just too... picky.

is there any pokemon colosseum roms
    To answer your question: Possibly.
    But:

    1) There may not be a GC Emulator out yet.
    2) The download for a GC emulator would be huge! I don't think there'd be many computers capable of handling it.
    3) Even if there is a GC emulator and someone was able to run it, there may not be a Colosseum rom. Besides, the rom would be a huge download!

On topic, no I haven't played Colosseum yet it isn't too good from what I've read on this thread which will possess me not to buy it.

Yes D/S could be a neat 3D game. However, since Nintendo doesn't really go to the full extent of their products, it will take a while.

Too bad colo is not out in playstation~~~ I hope it will~~~ WHy dey always dun let them out~~~

I like the main idea of a game to me it is an excellent time waster. But there ARE some things that could be changed like the saving idea. I don't like it when I have to go to the nearest Pokecenter to save. Like in the other games I want to be able to save wherever whenever. Some Pokemon when they get hurt they go through the trainer and the screen gets crudy for a split second. Also when I try to save in the daycare center in Agate Village it asks me if I wanna change my name of my Pokemon. ALso the level numbers are not clear. I mistook a 5 for a 9. So insteas of 95 it was 99 when it was really 95.

I actually got bored with Colosseum rather quickly. It was a nice effort, but it could have been more thought out.

I mainly got it for the 3D battles of my GBA pokemon and to get the Johtos that dont appear in FR/LG. One thing I am somewhat cheesed off about is WHERE IS THE FREE BATTLE with the register off preset pokemon? Battle Now just doesnt cut the mustard im afraid.

I also think it was a good effort, but not really a hit. It seemed to be all hyped up about with the fans, with the promotional Jirachi that was given away on cd (Celebi in Japan), and just the overall news that a 3D pokemon game is coming.

I wouldn't say it was a dissapointment but could have been done better... just let Gamefreak handle the majority of the concept for the next game.

they should do better with the next one. It seemed a bit too cartoonish. Like when the police officer spins around after bumping into Wes.

There is a GC emulator out go to www.emulator-zone.com to download
Most computers cannot handle GC roms

I liked the game, but I know it could have been better. (longer too) I REALLY liked the battle music. So catchy!!

They should have gone deeper into the hero(Wes/Thomas/etc) and sidekick's(Rui/etc) past. It could have been more interesting.

they really couldn't do wild pokemon. On gba its grass and then a random one appears but on gamecube u cant really do grass as huge pokemon you would probably see
