I'm thinking of making a Pokémon contest fan game. The image here is a mockup of how battles could look.

    [PokeCommunity.com] Pokemon Contest Battle Mockup

    1. The three judges are a party member, the opponent, and the opponent's party member

    2. Each judges' bias is displayed on their profile, there is Beauty, Cute, Cool, Smart, and Tough.

    3. The Judges all have a voltage meter, when filled it gives the category that appeals to them double power. It fills up by appealing to the judges.

    4. Pokémon have levels, these levels influence coat stats a little, which affects category appeal.

    5. Appeal is a way to win a battle, to win, one must either fill an appeal quota, or knock out all enemy Pokémon

    6. Health, when a Pokémon's health is depleted it is knocked out for 5 turns max. Pokémon are auto revived after 4 Turns.

    7. Moves, Moves are categorized by their type and their category. For example, Bite is Tough and Dark.

    8. Each move has a limited number of uses, run out and the move will retain it's typing and category but revert to a basic version for the duration of the battle.

    9. Each Pokémon is allowed to have 6 moves, and each trainer is allowed to have 3 Pokémon.
