January, 23rd, 2005- The experimental Gamma Cell was created for this very purpose- the covert defense of the Free World and all of her inhabitants against gangs, teams, and any other urban threat. Drawing from the ranks of top Pokemon trainers of unusually young ages, Gamma Cell has been deemed too unpredictable for live ops. Unfortunately, the rest of our covert operations squadrons are either MIA or away on an operation. This leaves Gamma Cell as the sole hope of a free Kanto.
Gamma Cell is required to infiltrate the resurgent Team Rocket in Kanto before the team becomes too strong to counter. Our intelligence was received by Alpha Squadron, an, ahem, PROPER covert operations group, who were unfortunately compromised and are captured within the organization itself. The mission is to free Alpha Squadron and let them complete the mission. On NO ACCOUNT are Gamma Cell to attempt to finish the mission itself.
Gamma Cell is currently made up of four operatives. Four underage, inexperienced agents who've had only the very most basic of training. Each of them will be driven to their objective within Kanto- Celadon, Vermillion, Viridian and Cerulean cities- and then set off to find Alpha Squadron. Once they have either found Alpha Squadron or done a thorough search of the area, they are to contact HQ via their dogtag number on their P*DA.
If Gamma Cell fails this mission, they will be shut down and dispersed. If they should succeed, then they may be given more opportunities in the field. Your progress is being watched with the eyes of a hawk, agent. Do not fail us.

You
You are one of the four agents in Gamma Cell dispatched for this crucial mission in defeating Team Rocket. Although not experienced as an actual operative, you have had experience in Pokemon training, having received four badges in your home region before the International Police Agency contacted you in request for your assistance. Your group is an unconventional one as you are made up of teenaged agents rather than adult ones- and your specialty is in Pokemon. Using the three Pokemon you caught in your journey, you are about to undertake the first of many Covert Operations to protect the people of the Pokemon world, which will see you placed in every region known so far.
For Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Orre, Sinnoh and Unova, you began as an official Pokemon Trainer and proceeded to obtain four badges unusually quickly because of your skills.
For Almia and Fiore, You became a Ranger and obtained three partner Pokemon, and were noted for excellence in the field.

Gender: Also, if your character is of a sexuality other than heterosexual, please list that here as well.
Nationality: The region you are originally from. This will influence your starting Pokemon and possibly events in the roleplay. Each region has been given a real-world cultural identity by myself- if you want another one, PM me and let me know of a new suggestion. Each region can have a maximum of two operatives in Gamma Cell.

Johto = Japanese
Hoenn = Brazilian
Sinnoh = Russian
Unova = American
Fiore = Spanish
Almia = British
Orre = Arabian
Codename: Every operative has to have a codename. It is the law.
Personality: What is your character like? How are they defined? 2 paragraphs MINIMUM.
History: What has happened to your character in the past? Where were they picked up by the International Police Force? Again, 2 paragraphs minimum.
Appearance: What does your character look like? What do they wear? Once more, 2 paragraphs minimum.
Pokemon team:
For each Pokemon, complete this form, for a maximum of three.
Pokemon species: The Pokemon must have been introduced in the generation your region was also introduced in. For Almia and Fiore, You may use any Pokemon within their browsers. I suggest you look up Bulbapedia if you are unsure of the actual species within them. For Orre, use Hoenn or Johto Pokemon. NO LEGENDARIES.
Nickname (If any):
Gender: Obvious, I hope.
Level: Up to level 40. If you have more than one, you must have one that is not fully evolved and below level 30.
Moveset: Up to four moves learned by your Pokemon's level.
Personality: One paragraph minimum.
History: One paragraph minimum (Include here how the Pokemon was captured).
Other: Anything that doesn't fit into the above sections. Shiny Pokemon are not allowed, but Pokemon of a slightly different coloration may be acceptable.
Rules:
All standard Pokecommunity ones, naturally.
Keep swearing and such reasonable- dropping an occasional one is fine, but I don't want to read an F-bomb of a paragraph.
Romantic themes are allowed, but keep it clean. Don't write anything you wouldn't want your mother to see.
Try and make each post at least a paragraph or two in length. You can't write Shakespeare each time, but try and make it a good one each time.
Don't always win! It makes it boring and repetitive. Mix it up with an occasional failure or defeat.
