Pokemon Diamond/Pearl

I've heard rumours about Pokemon Diamond/Pearl.. will the characters be changed totally? I know some characters are definitely changed, but will at least Ash, Pikachu and Brock stay in this newer series? ><;;

Nothing is confirmed yet other then that Pearl, the female main character in the upcoming Diamond/Pearl DS Games will be included in the cast.

It could be a possible miniseries, spinoff, or just a replacement for Ash, May, Max, or Brock. We will not be absolutely certain until we are closer to the projected release date which is around September, if my memory is correct.

uuum, they might. I figure that Ash may travel through Shinou.
But theres also going to be a Diamond/Pearl anime with the main character being the Female player (Pearl) from the games.
It'll release around 2008 or something...

Some friends and I are hoping it'll just be a side-story though, kinda like Chronicles was. ...

I hope so too.. cos it's really gonna be kinda sad to see main characters change after seeing them for so long... it's almost the same feeling as when they changed the dubs..
