Has anyone gotten this problem before? my gf plays pokemon diamond and she was going to play some pokemon on my nds when she noticed her saved file had been erased. she got a blue screen and a message saying something along the lines of "the saved file is corrupted or damaged", and then forced her to start a new game. is this a glitch or just a fluke?

And everybody knows that if you turn off the game While it's saving it can corrupt the saved data.

Sounds like the cart was inserted improperly. In most cases, turning the DS off, taking the game card out and pushing it back in and then turning it on again has generally worked. If the game save data has corrupted itself since then, that would be very unlucky. It can happen sometimes, which isn't a good thing. The Flash memory which holds the game data may be defective.

In the case the game is defective, it's best to call Nintendo's technical support. I am under the assumption you live in the U.S. and your game is genuine, which you would otherwise be ineligible for technical support.

The customer service number is 1-800-255-3700. Or, contact them over the web and inquire about it.

Partially Right, Canada has already gotten Pokemon D/P as well =P But yea, if you imported to say europe, you couldnt get technical support
