Hello, I am developing a ROM Hack for Pokemon Emerald, but I have encountered a glitch.
As linked in this post, I have made minor changes to the first tileset picture, and added more blocks to the second tileset. This is how it looks in-game:

But as soon as I go into a wild encounter or enter and leave a building, this irreversibly changes to:

I wish to provide more details once I receive help. Thank you.

Included in this link are the tileset in an unedited palette 3, the palette information file for the tileset, and a link to the .IPS patch to test out the hack. I have not finished editing the movement permissions in Route 1 yet, though, so find your way up if necessary.

Once I receive help, I will make sure to credit you in the post once I upload the hack to this site.

    Cheers.

    Here you go.

You most likely ruined the in-game tileset by saving it as a compressed file type and then inserting it. Since you provided an uncompressed version of the tileset, it was easy to overwrite the compressed version and get it all back together again.

nothing. I tried patching on both a clean rom and the problematic hacked rom and nothing changed for both.
