    Edit: Actually the just changed the name of Pokemon Green, to Pokemon Blue in the US.
     
    ...Are you nuts? You don't think NoA would spend lots of money translating the earlier games just to stop for absolutely no reason at what could quite possibly make the Pokemon phenomenon more popular than it already is? (Phew.) That's kinda like saying they're gonna stop translating Mario all of a sudden. :/
     
    Well, we are not strict, but it is kinda dum to think it is not coming here. and chris, a mod does not have to close the thread, it's not against the rules.
     
    But just for the sake of it (I hate how people treat some n00bs), I'll say yes.

    Chris - Don't speak when you don't know what we're talking about. There's nothing wrong with this thread, it was just a sorta dumb question. So mind your own business and don't get involved, okay?

    Pretty much that's what I meant. You know if your thread is gonna be locked because it's useless or spam it's like breaking the rules.

    Wow, this went way off topic. And somehow, I'm not surprised to see Maca at the heart of this.

    As for the locking of topics, it's marvellous how many people say 'oh we don't need this thread now, mods close it please'. Topics only get closed if they are useless, or spam, or at the heart of a flame war. In this case, it started out with a misinformed question. Of course, people reacted by saying 'duh, of course Emerald is coming out here', but as light hearted as it started out, that was a flame against PokeX.

    I've kept my eye on this thread, hoping the argument would end and die out naturally. After two more days, the arguments hadn't ended, so here's where I step in to end it myself.

    And now, to address a few people:

    PokeX - Since you're new here, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. It's not that we're strict or anything, we just like having questions organised in certain areas. No biggie.

    PKGirl - As if being banned once already wasn't bad enough, you still continue to flaunt the rules and act like a moderator, which of course you aren't.

    _Chris_ - It's up to the mods to decide if a thread needs to be closed, not you

    DarkLink - Just because PokeX wasn't sure, doesn't mean he shouldn't ask. Nil points for flaming.

    There, that's the end of that...
