Why kind of contests and games are in the anime that would be fun in the game too. I can think of PokeRinger which is making a sinnoh debut.

huh? well, I will assume you meant game instead instead of show, seeing as how the anime IS the show...lol...but I would like to the see them make the pokemon ringer contest, pokemon summer school w/ all the activites, and the ANIME versian of contests to be put into the future DS games or so. I think it would be a really fun addition.

They should consider it for 5th gen.

There was the Whirl Cup which Misty participated in, and there were Breeding Contests either mentioned or shown during Johto and Kanto, which basically resemble what became actual Contests in Hoenn and Sinnoh.

There was also many triathalons. That would be fun.

I've heard rumors that the Platinum are a little more like the show. I've even heard that they have appeal battles. It's interesting because in the appeal battles, a lvl 1 Rattata could one shot a lvl 100 Rayquaza. It's all based on appeal and not power. It's like the points system in the anime.

Well, technically, the Actual Pokemon Contests kinda debuted in PvP. I mean, the nature of the battle, the Pokemon limit, the nature of the prize (Contest prizes aren't always a ribbon. If I must point out, the Prize that Jessie won with Aipom involved a yearly supply of bananas/fruit.). Heck, even the very description of the contest was also similar to a Pokemon Contest (They mentioned that the Queen of the Princess Festival Contest wasn't just a Beauty Contest, but also a tournament, which is exactly what a Pokemon Contest is.). In fact, because of this episode, Misty/Jessie was actually the originator of Pokemon Contests, not May, contrary to popular belief.

Other than that, prior to Johto, Breeding was pretty much an Anime only thing. Prior to Hoenn/the Kanto Remakes/Orre, Double Battles were also, in essence, an Anime only thing, as they have first appeared in "Clefairy and the Moon Stone", Heck, quite a few things that originated only in the anime were eventually incorporated into the games.

friends at school. never actually looked at the site they were talking about but, from wat they told me, its a speculation site for pokemon. the only thing I remember about how to get there is they said u can get there through bulbapedia

Another event is the Pokémon Contest that Weedle is refering to in Kanto, anything during the Orange Islands, and the Victory Road celebrations.

Oh yeah, and in a way, the leagues themselves. To become champion in the games, you only have to beat the E4 and the champion, in the anime you have to battle lots of trainers in the competition and you can only battle the E4 and the champion (and then become the champion) by beating that league after winning the badged first. Which must be much harder. Although, I wonder what would've happened if Paul beaten Cynthia in that battle. It may be that you can only officially become champion after defeating everyone at the league, then the E4 then the champion.

I also remember when they all went on a scavenger hunt in the show. That was pretty cool, even though the entire games are like one big scavenger hunt!
