Pokemon Explorers of Time HELP!!!

I need help I am trying to beat stupid dialga but right when I am about to beat him he uses roar of time!!! What do I do.

I am a lv 37 piplup named Waddles, with bubblebeam, whirlpool, peck, and vacuum-cut.
My partner is a turtwig named Sheldon,lv 37 with tackle, razor leaf, giga drain, and synthesis.
What iteams should I use and what moves?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This won't help, I know, but I remember I went in with myself and my partner being around 35. And I died a lot...and finished when Cyndaquil and Totodile were at 45. :/ So...I don't know what to tell you, other than to expect to be there a while.
