Okay, I've been wanting to make a Pokemon game as a downloadable game from the site Yoyo Games, but now that u guys and gals support ROM Hacking, I might as well try to make a ROM myself, so, here goes.
Here is the storyline of Pokemon Gamma Version:
Prof. Pine: "Welcome to the world of Pokémon! I'm Professor Pine; you can just call me 'Pine' for short. This is what we call a Pokémon. (Sends out Antennice) As you can see, there are more species of Pokémon to be discovered. So, are you a boy or a girl? (Player chooses gender) Ah, so you are a (whatever gender the player chose). Now what is your name? (Player chooses name for Trainer from preset list or make his/her own name) Ah, so your name is (whatever name the player chose or made) that is moving from the Hoenn Region to Stardale Town in the Ryuka Region. Oh, I have grandson/granddaughter that is moving too, his/her name is Michael/Amy. Well, (whatever names the player chose or made), this is your chance to become a Pokémon Trainer, so get out there, and show them what you're made of!"
Plotline: The trainer gets his/her starter from rescuing the professor from the Robly attack (it's classification is Tiny Bird Pokémon), goes off to fill up the Ryuka PokéDex so the professor can study all of the Pokémon Gods and the son of Arceus. On the way, the trainer encounters a notoriously evil team named 'Team Heartless' who is a team that is trying to capture the Cold-Hearted Pokémon and harness it's power to make everyone evil. The name for the team's boss is named 'Payn.' After defeating all of the 8 Gym Leaders, the trainer then, instead of battling the Elite Four and the Champion, battles in a 16-man style tournament and has the chance to re-heal his/her Pokémon during the tournament before the next match. But, after the Finals of the tourney, the Rival of the trainer comes down the stairs of the stands and challenges him/her to a final battle. After he/she wins, credits roll and the adventure is over... Or so it is?
