Plot

Spoiler:

Marlin Freddrick is the son of two Pokemon Researchers – who happen to be Electric-type fanatics. Dr. and Dr. Freddrick have moved their family to the cozy northern town of Quartz to study the effects of a recent Pokemon-attracting program. Since Orre did not originally have very many Pokemon, a program was initiated five years ago to bring new Pokemon to the region and today there are plenty of Pokemon in Orre. The story starts as Marlin's mom awakens him with a cheerful 'Happy 13th Birthday, sweetie!' and tells him that they (Marlin's parents) had hired Professor Hawthorne to catch the 'perfect' Pokemon for him, and that it was waiting in the lab. Excited, Marlin rushes to Professor Hawthorne's lab and are given your new Pokemon. Right after, your mom runs into the lab screaming that your dad has been kidnapped! The police burst in moments later and tell Marlin to go home and it'll all be okay. Marlin returns home with his frantic mom and goes to sleep. When he wakes up, there is a thud downstairs and Marlin finds Ricky, his rival, who explains that they have to get out of town – the police aren't what they seem, and they've got peculiar rabid-looking Pokemon.

Play as Marlin or Mandy and journey throughout Orre to discover whatever happened to your dad, who are the mysterious people disguising themselves as police, and just why are Pokemon turning feral?

well, pokehero in the story it says that the parents are studying the program, and also there are wild pokemon they're just hard to find xD

Since Orre government officials implemented wild pokemon in Orre, there will be a blend of Pokemon from previous generations and just as plentiful as average (in most places).
