    Hi. I know I don't come around here much, but I thought it would be nice to share my talent with you all. Animation is my most favorite thing to do, and I really try to do my best at it. So if you haven't taken a look around in my site yet, or seen these through someone else, these animations will be new to you.

    The filesize of these are kinda large, so beware of that.
    I hope you enjoy them. If you don't...well... that's just the way it is, then. =\

    Glutton for Punishment- One of my earliest Poke gif shorts. I made it because I wanted to animate Chikorita and Gulpin in something, and sometimes I don't think the anime is satisfying enough. When all else fails, you can always do things yourself, right?

    Gotta Dance 3- The third segment of the "Polka o Dolka" dance, using Plusle and Minun. Pretty accurate, if I say so myself.

    Something- A really ingenious title, I'm sure, but it's a small gif of Kirlia doing something I'm still not quite sure of today. Hence the title "Something".

    "Are you serious?"- My most recent gif that is really anime influenced. It's pretty much an animated version of a comic I drew. It's also got your stereotypical exaggeration scene, which was the most fun part to create, honestly. The text can be hard to read, so you can read the text dialogue here.

    For the record, I love humanshape/anthroesque Pokemon because they allow me to make gifs like this without having to use humans, which I can't really draw.

    I've seen your animations before and I can only look on in amazement. They are so well done and you have inspired me with every animation you've made. I can only guess at how you make these animations so seamlessly. Could ya let me in on what program you use, techniques? (You asked for questions so here they are)

    First time I used the word "lip-synch" for something good :)

    Well, yeah, I've seen your gifs on your site, except for the last one...
    I really love how you lip-synch the Pokemons mouth with the dialogue. You do it so well!

    MWAR!!!! I LOVE that first one, the Chikorita's expressions are priceless! ^_^ I think that one's my fav ^_^

    Flash for the most part, and in some cases (for Misc. stuff) I use a gif animator known as Easy Toon. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, for example, ET only uses one layer, but it being in bitmap format I can get away with more (read: work lazily).

    There's not too many techniques I know of. Just watch a lot of cartoons of regardless of origin and check how they do things frame by frame. And I hand draw every frame. No tweens or nothing, makes stuff look unnatural. That's also why it takes me forever to do anything for content that generally lasts 5 seconds at best. =\

    But honestly, it just came naturally. Never took a class, never read a book. I just picked up a mouse and started drawing. But I did have a lot of prior knowledge about animation in general, and I know it really helped a lot. You can learn a lot just by watching others, I believe.

    Music and sound effects, quite. But voices, no. They have a tendency to ruin everything because they are never what people expect, and then you've got mike conflicts that get in the way... it's a hard job. -.-
