I am using Crossover (which uses wine I suppose, idk) to run Windows applications on my Mac. It goes pretty smooth. Installed the .NET framework v3.5 and am using all the programs nicely to make my first ROM Hack. (Pokemon Ruby)

One thing though, I am trying to import a Black White sprite of Treecko to the Rom using unLZ.GBA but it says that the image is not indexed.

\I am not installing IrfanView because I come across an error (error 53) while running the install .exe. I am using GIMP (which from what I can tell, is why more superior to Irfan). I followed the guidelines I found here: https://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?43493-Sprite-Replacement-in-Pokemon-Platinum

I checked the colormap, it is only 16 colors. The image in indexed. The image is also 64 x 64. Index 0 is the background color and all the colors in the colormap end with 8 or 0 (By the way, I got the sprite from spriters resource). But after exporting the image, it says it is not indexed.

    Here is the image:
    Spoiler:

Then I tried to go a different way by exporting the original treecko image from the Ruby ROM. The problem with that is that is that it exports it in Greyscale instead of Indexed. So I had the switch the image into RGB before copy and pasting the new image and then Indexing. It produced the same results, It is not indexed.

I don't know what is going on. Maybe it's because I am running it on a Mac? I don't really know. I decided to get some help before I go to sleep.

Thanks in advance ^.^ (I will gladly post the ROM via PM, It is barely changed anyway so I don't really care about it atm)

EDIT: Nevermind, I just used Advance Pokemon Sprite Editor and that worked way better
