I apologize for the last post, it was unnessecary. It was just that every post went something like: "You're posting wrong...or "Your post is gonna die!!!".
Anyway, I listened to your requests and I've got a lot more info about my hack. Keep in mind taht the ROM that I'm hacking is Pokemon: Gold Version.
First off, I want the game to have a different Intro Screen, but with the same 'New Game' Menu. Upon selecting 'New Game' the intro sequence that starts will, after asking the time, say something like: 'Hello there, my name is Jeremy Stone(with a sprite of the default Poke Trainer above the text instead of OAK). I've been a pokemon Trainer ever since I was ten years old. I've just collected my final gym badge and on my way to face the Elite Four. But first, I've got to head back home to Viridian and prepare my Pokemon...*Then, the Sprite will change to a Professor looking guy who will say something like: "Don't be fooled by the innocence of this story's beginning. For, this is no ordinary story. An untold story of the darker side of the Pokemon universe is now beginning..."
Then, you start out as a the default trainer in Viridian. In you inventory will be a basic inventory, a few potions, maybe ten pokeballs. Your pokemon will be Pidgeot, Hypno, Golem, Persian, Venusaur, and Growlithe. Your first objective will be to talk to your father, who is inside the Viridian Gym, a guard posted inside. He will give you an item. Then, when you walk past the spot in Viridian where the 'OLD MAN' always was, a man will approach you and show you how to catch pokemon. After this he will reveal himself as a long-lostt professor of the Team Rocket project to clone Mew. He will tell you that you must go to Cinnibar and try to track down Missingno. He will give you an Ultraball and a Fire Stone(for Growlithe). You go to Cinnibar and talk to the Nurse for info. She'll tell you that there was another trainer in the Center asking about Glitch Pokemon, and she's out surfing. You go out on the beach, and see a Blastoise ferrying a female trainer around near the shore. You talk to the trainer (named Rose), and she agrees to let you use her Blastoise for a while to help her search. you will encounter a ghostly Missingno, and he will promptly run away. When you leave battle mode, you will be forced back to shore, where you will see a commotion. Your female trainer friend has been arrested, apparently she was really a rocket. Anyway, you end up in having to break her out and then make you way back to Cinnibar, along the way you will encounter a trainer much like yourself, who becomes your rival after discovering that Rose is a Rocket, and therefore you must be one too(But Jeremy is not really a Rocket, just for clarification) you get back to Cinnibar, end up fighting Missingno and 'M. You lose, then explore the Cinnibar Research lab where the two glitch pokemon were created. You battle a bunch of Unowns in the lab, and then obtain an Enei. You then break into the Poke Center to recover Rose's confiscated Pokemon. After leaving the Center, you will battle Missingno, then 'M. After defeating them, they steal your Fly and Surf HM, allowing them to escape. Then ou fight a security guard who has discovered you. After defeating him, you rest for the night. When you wake up, you are told to head over to the Seafoam Islands to see if anyone there has spotted the glitches. You learn from an Old man that they were heading to Fuschia. When you arrive in Fuschia, you fight Missingno at the Safari Zone entrance. After defeating him, you are warped by 'M into a glitchy, jumbled city. In order to escape, you must find 'M and defeat him. When you exit 'Glitch City', you talk to Rose,who gives you five Master Balls. After you receive them, your Rival shows up(cue Rival Music). You fight him and then talk to the Professor. He tells you that your best hope is to return to the Cinnibar Lab and try to complete one of his experimental Mew clones. When you get to the lab, you search the chemical vats until you find the only living specimen. The Professor tells you that you must find Pokemon Genetic samples in order to complete the clone. You search the lab and find pokemon DNA samples. When you find all three, the clone is finished and you receive the new Pokemon. After you leave the Lab, Missingno attacks you. After using your new Pokemon to weaken him, you must use a Masterball. Then you fight 'M and also use a Masterball to catch him. After catching both glitches, Rose says something like: "Congratulations, Jeremy. You've caught yourself a Glitch." Then Jeremy(Your character) says: "I caught MissingNo..now what?"
After completing the story, you are free to do one final objective, defeat the Elite Four. (Maybe another rival battle). Maybe during the game rules will be made to prevent wild battles, and I'll definitely give plenty of objective clues.
Anyway, that's all that I have planned for now. Sure, there are a lot of specifics and adjustments to be made, but I hope to figure those out later. Tell me what you think...suggestions would be great. Once again, before this goes official, I will ask the author of the fanfiction for permission to bring her story to life.
