Pokemon Go Loading screen

So I've been playing pokemon go since the day it came out in the U.S, and I just recently came across and issue that won't allow me to play. I went to open the app, and it was stuck at the loading screen where the person and the tips are. I tried restarting the app, clearing the cache, restarting my phone, making sure the app wasn't restricted, and it still did not work. I am able to log on other friends devices and my uncomfortably large ipad. I then uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and now it is stuck at the loading screen after I selected my google account. I've tried looking up this issue, but the common response was to delete and reinstall. I have had no problems other than server issues occasionally, and have not done anything to damage my phone, as all other apps and services work. Does anyone have any idea what this could be or how to fix it?

It still sounds like a cache issue to me, even though you said you cleared it. My app will do this to me from time to time, and it won't let me go any further than the loading screen or the log-on screen, sometimes for hours. I was still able to log on from other devices and the server was not down at the time. I feel like it was a consistent problem when the GO servers were having issues, but now I don't experience it as much.

My advice would be to just play on the devices that will let you run the app, turn off your phone for a bit, and let the connection truly reset. If it still doesn't work, maybe issue a ticket to Niantic.
