I'm debating whether or not to buy Pokemon go plus and have a few questions that hopefully someone who already owns it could help me with, I have an iPhone 6 if this matters.
1. Do you have to have the Pokemon go app running whilst using it? I'm assuming you do and if so can you lock your phone with it still counting your steps and such whilst using Pokemon go plus? or do you still have to have your phone unlocked and have the app running?
2. Is it efficient for reducing battery consumption when playing Pokemon go? This would be one of the deciding factors for me and while it seems like one of the main point to Pokemon go plus is saving battery life, I'm not so sure it would help a great deal if you do indeed have to leave your phone unlocked with the app running as you'd have to have Bluetooth switched on for Pokemon go Plus.
3. Someone on YouTube says it also works as a tracker for in the sense that a light will appear on the app near a spot where a nearby Pokemon will spawn. Could someone confirm whether or not this is true, as I've not heard anyone else mention this in reviews and such.
Thanks in advance
