Project Introduction

Hello,

I would like to share with everyone a project that I have been thinking about for awhile ever since I started to play other Fan-made Pokemon games. Joining this community has given me an opportunity to be able to start this project and with this idea I'm considering it a long term one. This game will have many different elements to it and maybe even some new parts not see before. Be prepared. This post is going to be considered long because of the introduction, plot, and characters. Since I'm only a writer, and trying to get familiar with the RPG Makers and Pokemon Essentials I'm looking for Designers/Artists, Developers, Script Writers, Flash Animators, ect. Now onto the game idea...

Story Introduction

Areina Island Design​

Long ago there was a civilization that lived above the clouds over the Regian Continent. They lived peacefully under the protective guidance of Aridous, the legendary Mythos Pokemon. Aridous granted the people a privilege to work with all legendary Pokemon to improve their world and the world below them. The people and Pokemon alike took this gift for granted and used the most of it to build up their lives. It was then that Aridous needed to depart from the island but before it left, a crystal was put inside its home. It was called the Mistice Crystal. Aridous warned the people:

This crystal is here to prove the peace and prosperity for humans and Pokemon. It carries the same guidance as I. If darkness comes to threaten this crystal, it will shatter and Aerina Island will fall. Your links to the legendary Pokemon will be severed.

Aridous then left the island and disappeared. Life carried on for the civilization, until all of it came crashing down. Soon greed and selfishness made its way into the people's hearts and they started to fight over the power of the crystal. Individuals tried to take advantage of the power for personal gain and fights started to break out between them. Over time the fights got more violent and the calamity engulfed the whole island. As the darkness spread it make its way for the crystals home, but like Aridous warned as soon as the fighting reached the crystal it shattered. The legendary Pokemon who had been trying to stop the fighting, protect the innocent people and maintain peace also disappeared. Aerina Island fell from the sky and disappeared into the Regian Continent below.

Plot

Three Mythos Pokemon Starters Designs​

You are an 18 year old trainer who is currently going to the Royus Academy in the Lithrem Region. You are striving to become a Pokemon Trainer to join the the Mythic Guardians Guild. A guild that is dedicated to helping cities and towns across the Regian Continent and keep peace. Soon Royus Academy is attacked by a mysterious organization known as Nemisian. You manage to escape from the academy and meet Dianna. She then introduces you to Professor Lawrence who then gives you your partner Pokemon.

You then set out on your journey to conquer the gym leaders of each region in the Regian Continent to help build up your status in the guild. Along the way you will meet many different people both friends and foe. As you journey there will also be many trials for your character including their past, betrayals, lies, and Nemisian. Will your character be able to unravel the mystery behind the Mistice shards? And will your character be able to overcome all of the trials that fate seems to have set up for them?

Characters (So Far)

Male main character design & Female main character design​

Main Hero/Heroine

The main player in the storyline. When they were 10 years old their town was attacked by a mysterious Pokemon and almost everything completely destroy, leaving very little survivors. As they laid injured and alone a lone man came to their aide. He introduced himself as a guardian and treated their wounds. When a nearby town sent out a search party the man left the main character in the town square to be found by them. Due to their experience with the stranger they learned more about the Mythic Guardian Guild and applied to Royus Academy.

Professor Lawrence

A professor who is working along side the Mythic Guardian Guild. He has been working as a professor for 20+ years and is studying Pokemon behavior. He sees a lot of potential within the main character and gives them the responsibility of looking after a Mythos Pokemon.

Dianna

The lead receptionist for the main Mythic Guardian Guild building in the Litherim Region. She helps the main character at the beginning of their journey and also is knowledgeable about the different quests that are posted.

Sera

A female trainer who meets the main character at the start of their journey. She is also a beginner in the guild and they are going out trying to catch their first Pokemon. Later on in the game when Double quests open up she will be an option to pick when going on a quest.

Ryo

The mysterious top member of the Mythic Guardians Guild. Very little is known about him. Even those who are considered to be high ranking in the guild don't know much.

Director Z

A scientist who works in the organization Nemisian. He enjoys setting up experiments to see what the results can give him. His experiments including pitting Pokemon against Pokemon in fatal duels, toying with human lives, and altering how both humans and Pokemon act. Its not known how he came to join the organization but he has loyalty to the creator of Nemisian.

Nemius

Not much information is known about him. He is the creator and leader of the organization Nemisian. It is said that he has some sort of unknown influence that reaches all across the Regian Continent.

I have put placeholders in this post where I would like graphics to go but since my drawing is as bad as it can be I don't have any graphics or images yet. Like I said in the project introduction I'm looking for designers/Artists, developers, game script writers, Flash animators, ect. I'm only a writer so the story and such so that is what I will probably mainly be working on. There is going to be a lot of writing. I've had this idea for awhile and it took a bit courage to be able to share it in a thread. Thank you for taking your time to read my post. ^_^
