Your theory is quite flawed actually. You should have ended after the second GYM and Whitney would not give trouble to Morty as you would think as they are both neutral to each other however Morty's Pokemon know Hypnosis and his Gengar with a humongous special attack and speed would slaughter Whitney with Dream Eater.

Morty's gengar doesn't have dream eater. Plus I think Miltank could take down a couple of morty's ghosts but the numbers would just over power her.

actually morty kills all of his pokemon with curse so that isnt a problem.... Rollout would destroy mortys ghost types and since all of his pokemon are....you know male (they have dongs) attract would smack them up
also if my theory is "quite flawed" as you have said then y are 6 out of the 8 gyms type matched (ill give you morty)
in case you haven't noticed 3/4 is a majority

P.S. as the guy said above miltank = great def and morty only has one threat.... stab shadow ball, which doesnt affect normal types, miltank can heal with milk drink and totally win

Yeah Whitney is the one that ruins it all haha, but you know how there were two new types brought in for gold and silver? If only Whitney had been a dark type gym leader then it would have been a full link. Unless I'm wrong in saying that bug is super effective against dark?

Whitney kinda ruins it but if you read my above comment you know that 7/8 gym leaders being type matched is kinda wierd and crazy
