Pokemon Lava Ruby

I have been working on this for a while, but it is still in development. It is a simple hack which takes pokemon ruby and levels most trainers up. Most of the wild pokemon level up as well. This makes the game more challenging. I have been editing it with "Hopeless Trainer Editor" and "Advance Map" which I have gotten the very basics understood. In the end, the wild pokemon are around 1-30 levels higher than they were originally. The average is 5-10 levels higher. I tried to level up the trainers, but whether or not it worked is the question.
I'll need to test it. The plot is the same, nothing changed about that. I wanted to do something simple to start with, since I have no experience with ROM hacking. The games are to easy to begin with, so leveling up the wild pokemon and trainers makes a challenge. Not all trainers are leveled up, over 50% are however. That is.... if it worked. So far I am around 75-80% done, I need to play test it. I worked on changing the wild pokemon levels for 2 hours straight, same with the trainer pokemon, so please don't say "Another tough hack?" Really, it is supposed to be hard, but not back breaking. You have to grind levels, but it could be worse, the champion doesn't have a team of level 100's. Who's interested?

I don't want to sound rude, but this is an awful idea for a hack, This isn't what a Hard Mode hack is, this is just padding out the game with required grinding. Good Hard Mode hacks add new features, Pokemon and revamp all the trainers and their team and their movesets to make them a strategic and overall challenge, yours just makes the player grind an extra hour or so.

I mostly dislike hacks that call themselves hard mode as they ether simply don't challenge skilled players enough or are way to hard by giving the opponents six level 100 pokemon after the 5th gym. This is supposed to be hard, but not impossibly so. This hack would be for those who want a challenge but don't want to have to mess around with gimics they don't understand or don't want to understand. I did raise the levels of all pokemon, so the levels should scale correctly. It would also good for beginners who want to start playing rom hacks. Those who want to nuzlocke would find it enjoyable as no pokemon teams were changed, just levels. It is a first hack, so starting with something HUGE would be idiotic. Changing something small in the rom mght still be stupid with my experience as I could end up deleting something important. Simple is better with my experience level.

I highly doubt that trainer editing could ever delete something. But really, when your only challenge are higher levels, the only way to advance is by grinding which isn't hard, just boring. It would be better to just play Ruby, it'll be the same, but with less grinding.
