3rd Gen Pokemon LG/FR Guard

On Pokemon LG that I have, I have the fresh water with me. I go to the guard, and he still wont let me through. I've done everything I need to do before I go to Saffron, but he wont let me through. Any advise or help would be much appreciated.

Ah right, cheers. I thought these were meant to be remakes, but they changed quite a few things.

yeah but these changes are for the best, but i knows its not much but it saves you 200 pokedollars anyways.

I wouldn't call Fire Red and Leaf Green "remakes". They have giant differences in the storyline between them and the original Red, Blue and Yellow games. (However, I wish that Nintendo would make a Yellow remake.)
