Pokemon Love Song

I wanted to write a love song about Pokemon (Similar to the Mario Kart love song:

), it's proven to be slightly harder than I expected. I chose to write this song from the perspective of a Pokemon towards its trainer.

This isn't finished yet (and theres no middle 8 at all) but I'd like to get some feedback that I can take into account when I'm finishing the song, thank you in advance.

...I wonder what Pokémon this is? But that's not important.
A very touching song! Now this one I feel very eager to listen to!
The choice of words and their rhymes are very good and smooth.

And just a quick question. Is the second half of the poem spoken in the trainer's perspective? I'm just curious.

I didn't write it with any particular Pokemon in mind, its basically about how a Pokemon loves its trainer. I do hope to write guitar parts and eventually finish this song, I'll let you know as soon as I do =D

As for your question, thats not how I wrote it, but I can see why you thought it was like that, in fact I re-read the lyrics and noticed that it could probably be taken as a song about a pokemon & trainer relationship, relationship between two people or two pokemon depending on how you look at it.
