Pokemon MMORPG

I am a huge MMO fan, and a huge Pokemon fan. I was wondering if I was the only one hopeing the two would ever mix? And how many people shouting this idea out would it take to get one in development.

I would drop Aion and come strate to pokemon if it was so...for now i am waiting for Diablo 3.

I don't even know why they haven't done this already, seriously this would be the most successful thing ever!
You go about the game normally, training your pokemon up except there are other real life trainers running around too and you can battle them etc Ughghhh sooo awesome!!

Its Kanto with extra caves and secret areas. they are having trouble with servers so they arent accepting new members but when they release the Winter big update they are reopening forums and game registry.

I am working on one from scratch using Java i will post it here as soon as im in Beta here is my progress
Mapping: 56%
trainers: 34%
gym leaders: 87%
elite four: 3%
features: 12% ( their are alot so dont make fun of me lol)

On one hand, AN INFINITE WORLD OF POKEMON AND GYM LEADERS AND PEOPLE TO BATTLE 24/7? YAY.

On the other, I'm not too big on those games, I'll stick to my tiny screens and handhelds, kthx.

So is that an actual full 3D Pokemon MMO? If its anygood I might join up for a bit :)

its not 3d but its kinda like graphics on DP where its slanted and clean cut. im not going to make 3d trainers but i might make the battles like in stadium.
