    i bought the rise of darkrai DVD and YOU CANT TURN THE SUBTITLES OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    all the opitions for subtitles are English,Espanol (sp) and there are no special fetures!!!
     
    Dude, I got it on DVD today, I watched it twice, and guess what: NO SUBTITLES. Maybe its just the DVD you got, or whatever you are using the view the movie. Try watching it on your computer.
     
    Or maybe you need to turn off closed captioning on your TV.
     
    my DVD player has never added subs and close captioning is off
     
    Well, I wouldn't expect anyone who can't spell 'waste' to be able to figure out the finer points of a remote control...
     
    I don't know how your inability to use a DVD player even qualifies a thread title saying it was a waste of money.

    I personally thing Movie 10 was the best Pokemon Movie they have made so far.
     
    You just got a crappy DVD then.

    And you used the wrong 'waste', so I wasn't expecting too much from this thread.

    Watch it in Spanish, I guess. :D
     
    Apparently, there are NO special features on this DVD. Not even a tour of the place that inspired it or anything. Oh well.

    The only thing that's better about it, compared to some previous Pokemon movies, is that it's presented in its original aspect ratio.

    The DVD itself isn't all that good because it lacks any special features.
     
    Heh) In Russia DVD like this costs 50 rubles. about 1.5-2 $ huh)

    No kidding, I thought it was a waste of money because the movie just isn't that great to begin with. I mean, not compared to previous ones. It has its moments, but all in all, it's just a feature length episode. Yeah, it's got 3 Legendary Pokemon in it. Whoopdee freaking do... Every movie has Legendary Pokemon in it. Legendary Pokemon do not a great Pokemon movie make. I mean, I never bought the DVD, but I don't need to since Cartoon Network airs it often enough as is.

    I do like that it's presented in its original aspect ratio though.

    i agree with SBaby the movie SUCKED. I thought it would be cool because the name was cool but i was wrong the theme song was the best part (i watched it online though cause I've missed every run of it on cartoon network)

    im getting the dvd not!
