Just curious as to what you all think of the performance of the birds in the movie? I mean how did they come across to you? As in their personalities and also their performance battling. Just curious to what you guys think :). I know the film is old now but it still came across amazing I think (I know im raving about it, as I just watched it again now).

Well, it's pretty much what we expected. If you compare the Legendary Pokemon to Gods in mythology, then they're gonna go at it if they meet up.

More or less, maybe a little more biology and domain if you want to factor that in from the first movie. The whole "creature can't stand a similar (or same with the clones) creature within its domain/space."

And don't forget the science lesson Oak tried within the Japanese version over the underwater current (creating a D.N.A. pattern). Of course, both movies had the same writer: Takeshi Shudo, so, yeah...

I could see the competitiveness of the birds when Moltres was taken and Zapdos took over the fire island, for a brief time only obviously but it showed Zapdos wanted to rule the skies. I thought Zapdos looked great personally (no favouritism of course ).

I felt that the second movie, as a whole, was far superior to the first movie, mainly because of the birds, Lugia, and the threat to the entire WORLD over Mewtwo and his clones. But mainly the Birds. Seeing them fight was pleasing to the eye.

Didn't like the whole 'Ash is the chosen one' aspect, but I guess every movie had to have it crummy moments... I just find it hilarious how, after saving the world, no one seems to remember that, or care, if the movies did in fact coincide w/ the series.

Oh well, who cares? Zapdos rules!

Haha very true there, you'd think it would be a hot topic of conversation with them. They have seen so many legendary Pokemon now that its just another day to them maybe lol.
