I just have to ask a really silly question here. what genre WOULD Pokemon music fall under? ive always considered it to be in the pop category, but thats my personal opinion.
It depends... for the anime op/ed, I guess it's J-Pop (for the Japanese version).
For the games, I think the BGM's will fall under "game music", if there is such a genre.
I think it's pop as well. ^^ It most certainly isn't rock or country. XD There were a few Pokemon rap songs, but that was it. ^o^ I always loved the Pokemon songs. :33 The Johto Journeys one pwnz all. ^^
