Pokemon mystery dungeon: red rescue team

    I need help with this game. I'm stuck at the aricuno battle and need a new strategy.
    here is my starter for the game and partner.

    Me

    Cyndaquil:
    level 18
    Stats- HP:62 Atk:46 Def:31 Sp.Atk:33 Sp.Def:32
    Item: Power Band
    Move set: Tackle/Leer/Smokescreen/Ember

    Partner Pokemon

    Pikachu:
    level 17
    Stats- HP: 61 Atk:31 Def:29 Sp.Atk:43 Sp.Def:28
    Item: Special Band
    Move set: Thundershock/Thunder Wave/Quick Attack/Double Team

    I'm very strategic when it comes to battles but i can't seems to win this one.
    Please help me.
     
    I forgot most of old pmd games, but I notice you have Smokescreen and that is really good. In Sky it gives a Whiffer status, I assume it does the same in the PMD Rescue team. Use that, plus bring some seeds. Totter, Sleep etc. If nothing works, just stock up some reviver seeds and you should be good.
