Pokemon or Pocket Monsters?

Which is better and which are u using?
Pokemon or Pokcket Monsters?

i thought the general rule was that pocket monsters = japan, pokemon = everywhere else oO;

But Japan uses Pokémon as well, just watch a Japanese Pokémon episode ^^;
I thought of it as of a matter of preference.

I use Pokémon. I like it better than Pocket Monsters. Must be because that was what I was introduced to. ^^;

I call it Pokemon, I only call it 'Pocket Monsters' or 'Pockemon' when I'm reffering to its original title for informational purposes. However as far as the anime goes, I like to Japanese version better, but I do watch the dub as well, I don't dislike it.

Honestly, I like both. I use Pokemon usually because it's shorter.
You do need synonyms when talking about your favorite creatures. My synonyms so far

Short, sleek and portable. =P Naw, Pokemon is just the way I like it. That's it. Pokketto Monusta' is too long and complicated to say even without the Japanese accent.

I was introduced to them as Pocket Monsters, so I usually refer to them like that.

But I try to call them Pokemon here.

Pokémon Because Pocket Monsters is way to long. And also a lot of peolple don`t know that Pocket Monsters is a diffrent way to say Pokémon.
